This is a humble tribute to my motherland from her son
" I shall always keep my head high
Never will my head be lowered
Let rumors and accusations rule
Let facts be hidden
Let rocks be pelted
Let grudge and hatred grow
Let failure and criticism prevail
I shall not lower my head "
for
" I tread the path

not the one that is explored and trodden

but the one which is meant to be ideal

Acclaimed though I am

hardly does anyone follow

neither do they care

Harmed and warned though I am

my soul binds me to the lane

filling me with warmth and confidence"

Instilling such confidence is my nation
-> the nation which has taught the world culture
-> the nation which has shown what is patience
-> the nation which has taught the world forbearance
-> the motherland which has given birth to the greatest icons of humanity .

But unfortunately the children of this great land are :
" Carving for riches

Severing the long lasting ties

Breaching the trust of their motherland

Off I wanted to go to foreign lands

Unsure though they are of the fortune that awaits

Clear in their nature is the avarice

Though unsure of what they have offered their motherland

Persisting are the questions of what they gained from their holy land

Ungrateful brats are what they have been to leave their motherland ."

A day would dawn when
tears well my eyes looking at whats lost :

The un flickering love of my kith and kin
The unity in diversity , nothing ,
Nothing of it shall return "

We shall all leave our last breaths hailing our motherland in whose depths we shall finally rest"

My maiden

" Thy charm outbeats that of nature's splendor 

        as you were bathed in the purity of sun's radiance 

   Your hair with all its tangles looked like 

        a brooks water in the dawn 

   Your eyes were shining like diamonds and 

        seemed like knights cutlasses 

   Your lips which were parted innocently 

        looked like a lotus with a droplet at its midst 

   Your persistent efforts to control  your flowing hair bought 

        a pleasent smile to my lips . 

    I immediately took to cursing my race and time for neither of them permit me 

to live that moments ecstacy to eternity"

"A broken heart"

"Broken are those infinite promises made

Lost are those countless smiles

Shattered are the numerous dreams we dreamt of each other

Broken are the hearts as we part

Lost are our directions to future

Shattered are our lives and left at crossroads

Broken glass,torn cards ,shattered dreams leave me to daze and

cherish my only wealth : our memories those sweet times

which speak off us as one

not the one that is explored and trodden

Did You ever know what it is to feel desperate…..?

Desperation is

What you find in the loving eyes of a parent who lost their child

What you find in the eyes of a lover who lost his love

What you feel in loosing a dear friend

What you feel when you part away from your carind parents …

Is that what desperation is….?

May be that is not all

A feeling of desolation , hopelessness and fatigue which decorates the eyes of the ones who feel pain for their loved ones, not just when you loose them but when you miss them or see them in pain ……

Who is the real winner?

"Victorious isn't the one

who commands lands of infinite width

who has every pleasure at his feet

who boasts of himself as a myth

who commands the respect of every scholar

who quenches his thirst of every temptation better than an epicure

who annexes every distant vista in life his dreams could show

if he knows not the art of smiling......

For of what use are those riches to a person who kows not to cherish them "

Why was I speechless?

The skies brightened
though just for a moment

with that hand fretting out
The skies were filled with darkness
in the next moment
My thoughts were plunged into loneliness
the next instant
It is natural for nature
to play such tricks
But it is so strange
as she still plays on my mind
The nature may be kind enough
to repeat the show
But I wonder if the lord is kind enough to show that angel again and bring back my departed soul ..............................!
